Gotta say this place sucks as far as management. Don't get me wrong, the establishment has potential with okay security, full service bar, fairly attractive dancers, and authorized smoking areas but I think the management is lazy. Gotta say this place sucks as far as management. Don't get me wrong, the establishment has potential with okay security, full service bar, fairly attractive dancers, and authorized smoking areas but I think the management is lazy. Reason being is because the managers do not hold the dancers accountable for their actions. This happenes every time I have come to visit which were in random intervals in a span of the last two months totaling about 10 times. Not impressed. I get the impression that dancers are very selective to who they will entertain by just hanging in the VIP section all night instead of greeting potential customers. At least walk around or make rounds to all areas of the bar when not on stage or make eye contact with customers instead of certain individuals. You would think every person that pays money to see the ladies dancing would potentially have lots of money to spend on them especially when alcohol is involved. Prime example is this past weekend, the Red Parrot held there 17th year anniversary which featured a a ticket for a free lap dance from the ladies (LOL). At one point during the night, the DJ in an attempt to promote monetarily spending from customers for dances from the strippers called for customers to utilize their tickets for free lap dances. This had sounded wonderful except for one thing, most of the dancers left the club prematurely in assumption that they had made enough money for themselves for that night before the club closed. And as I mentioned before, most of the remaining dancers were hiding in VIP or other places in the club instead trying to entertain customers. I had tried to trade my free lap dance voucher for a free drink. That would have been more of a value. Not saying I would do a better job of managing a club but if I were managing, I would not allow dancers to roam in my establishment entertaining themselves and not paying attention to certain customers. As a customer, and I can speak most of the people I bring into this establishment for entertainment. We have money to spend for entertainment but most of the dancers will never know because they simply do not take the time to talk to potential long term customers and the reason they do not do it because the management allows this behavior to proceed. I was totally embarrassed by this club in trying to entertain the guest I brought into this establishment. If this behavior continues, I, along with an abundance of other customers, will take our business elsewhere. The assumed decline in business also probably explains the establishment's weak marketing. I remember the parrot, previously, featured well-known acts from adult entertainers with proven records and the website and radio stations were buzzing circa 1-2 years ago. Now it seems like random acts just appear that look like one of the girls from the downtown bus stop (amateur night) and all of sudden I have to pay a premium cover charge for these persons. The club promotes $3 tuesday nights for select drinks, cover charge, and dances from the strippers. All is true with this statement with the exception of that I have never seen any $3 dances given by the dancers, ever. Someone, definitely, needs to look into this. view short comment
